Definition

Pull-up torque - such a value of torque which allows an electric motor to accelerate the load to the normal operating conditions. In other words: a maximum load which can be accelerated to the nominal conditions.1)

This is the lowest point on the torque curve and for asynchronous motors can be synonymous with starting torque.4)
