MMG GB Ltd (formerly known as MMG Linton & Hirst) ceased its lamination business in 1993. Some of the equipment was purchased by Magnetic Metals Corporation (Camden, New Jersey, USA). Some of these tools were earlier acquired by MMG Linton & Hirst from Telmag Magnetic Components (Hamilton, Lanarkshire, UK).
Trevor Hirst held senior management positions in both MMG Linton & Hirst and Cogent Power (Kienle & Spiess) for over 25 years. Simon Bellamy was a technical manager at Linton & Hirst for over 10 years. Both have been on the board of directors of L&H Components Ltd since the beginning.
L&H Components Ltd was established 2004 and is the exclusive European distributor for Magnetic Metals Corporation.
The company is also the European agent for LH Industries (Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA) who produce progressive carbide dies.1)
